old Hinton Iowa RPPC Real Photo ** Main Street Downtown ** CELEBRATION

Description

Here is a vintage RPPC or real photo postcard, from Hinton Iowa.  This shows a scene down a street, this is likely Main Street as the downtown can be seen in the distance with stores, etc.  There appears to be a celebration of some sort going on, as there is a sizable group of people that seem to be dressed in their finery; a group of young girls appear to be clustered around a small stand near the street, while more adults are grouped under a roofed pavilion of some sort, perhaps a picnic is taking place.  A railroad crossing sign can be seen in the distance, with a couple of boys standing near it.  Vintage unposted, nice contrast and details, some slight curling due to age, some wear on edges and corners.  This will make a nice addition to your collection.
