Description

Here is a vintage RPPC or real photo postcard, presumed to be from Hinton Iowa (not identified on card, but was with a group positively identified as being from Hinton).  This show a group of men erecting a wooden pole, that appears to be a telephone or telegraph pole since another one is located nearby; or perhaps it is for another type of structure.  The men are using a ladder and another wooden pole to help push the large pole to an upright position in the installation location.  A building can be seen in the far background.   Vintage unposted, nice contrast and detail, some slight curling on edges due to age, some wear on edges and corners.  This will make a nice addition to your collection.
